Campo del Cielo
Campo del Cielo refers to both a collection of iron meteorites and the area in Argentina where they were discovered. This location spans the provinces of Chaco and Santiago del Estero and is situated approximately 1,000 kilometers north-northwest of Buenos Aires and around 500 kilometers southwest of Asunción, Paraguay. The meteorites from Campo del Cielo are thought to be about 4.5 billion years old, dating back to the early days of the solar system.
